BAC Films

BAC Films spe­cial­izes in devel­op­ing, financ­ing, pro­duc­ing and releas­ing cut­ting edge inde­pen­dent films for the French mar­ket and beyond. Since its cre­ation in 1986, BAC Films has main­tained itself as one of the lead­ing Euro­pean dis­trib­u­tors and inter­na­tion­al deal­ers for inde­pen­dent film with over 550 films released, among which 10 Palme d’Or.

In recent years, we have shown par­tic­u­lar pride in the rise of tal­ent­ed direc­tors such as Ruben Östlund, Pao­lo Virzì, Nico­las Paris­er and Léa Mysius with whom we have man­aged to main­tain suc­cess­ful col­lab­o­ra­tions over time. With them and the likes of Jim Jar­musch, Quentin Taran­ti­no, Wim Wen­ders and Park Chan-Wook, we thrive between cre­ative audac­i­ty and com­mer­cial ambitions.
